Overview
This training, facilitated by Carolina Cohoon, is designed to support educators in understanding and using accessibility functions to create effective learning experiences for diverse cohorts.
There are three series of workshops:
Accessibility in Microsoft
Accessibility features built into Windows 10/11 Operating System
Accessibility features in Microsoft Edge browser
Accessibility features in Office 365 Suite (Main tips on making Word, Power Point, Forms, and Excel more accessible: objects, alt text, tables, fonts, headings)
Accessibility in Google
Accessible Google docs and Slides. Accessible Google forms
Google Chrome browser and accessibility features
Tips to write alt text and increase accessibility during video conferencing sessions
Accessibility in Mobile Devices + interesting Apps/tools to explore
Accessibility features in Android* devices and Useful Accessibility Apps
Accessibility features in Apple* devices and Useful Accessibility Apps
Accessible documents + helpful accessibility apps
Each series consists of 3 Zoom sessions (90 minutes each).
